I am the Lead Business Intelligence Architect for Indiana University. I have a strong management background and use those skills to lead the University adoption and integration of the Microsoft Business Intelligence suite of tools with the University’s Enterprise Oracle Data Warehouse and other line-of-business systems.
In my previous position for the University Student Services and Systems group I managed technology professionals responsible for large and complex high visibility projects in all instances of production, development, support, and quality assurance systems.
I promote collaborative engagements for the university to help foster innovative and dynamic approaches to problem solving, systems architecture, enterprise initiatives, and operations development. I like to think of myself as a visionary leader who brings about the best in individuals and a quick learner with a desire to participate in the long-term planning and collaborative leadership of large-scale information systems initiatives and implementations of complex system deployments and migrations.

I am a respected university information manager with an in-depth knowledge of the university technical environment and a progressive information systems management career. I have established a solid foundation of knowledge administrating technical infrastructure, application development, systems architecture design and integration, business intelligence, and application deployments. I am familiar with the principles of information system processes, written policy and governance, and technical administration and auditing. I have strong relations with university constituents and proven track record of excellence. I am an effective learner and require little time to understand and comprehend new technologies and concepts.
My primary technical skillsets include Network Security, High Availability Infrastructure Services planning and deployment such as DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, SharePoint, Clusting, Load Balancing, and Database services. In addition I have a strong hardware infrastructures background. I have designed and built LAN's and Data Centers/Labs (cooling and electrical capacity planning) that consist of blade and rack servers, Storage Area Networks, and networking that supported the physical and virtual environments hosting ESX and Hyper-V hypervisors.
